Nepal is quite simply one of the most spectacular and fascinating destinations on earth. Situated between the great civilisations of India and China this tiny Himalayan Mountain Kingdom besides being home to eight of the world's ten highest mountains is also extremely rich and diverse in culture.
Stunning mountain panoramas towering over terraced foothills, delightful villages hidden amongst beautiful forests, rushing rivers plunging from the glaciers of the high Himalaya, Jungle Safaris, ancient temples and practices in abundance. Add to this Nepal's vast bio diversity with some of the most friendly people you are ever likely to meet and the beauty of Nepal begins to shine through.
The focus of our tours is participation and our formula is a simple one. We believe the more you invest of yourself the more valuable your experience, whether that be studying the flora and fauna, rafting the rapids of the Sun Kosi river, trekking or climbing in the highest mountain range on Earth or on the back of an elephant in search of tiger.... we'll provide you with the opportunities, with your sense of adventure the rest is excitingly easy. No holiday to Nepal would be truly complete without the opportunity to experience the abundance of history and culture Nepal provides. Most of our itineraries are designed to allow a full days sightseeing within the Kathmandu Valley at the beginning of your tour, allowing you a chance to adjust, relax and pick up on the local flavour of life. There is normally a day or two at the end of your pursuits to go bargain hunting.
Nepal is a country of great contrasts; Himalayan peaks such as Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang, Kathmandu with its colorful bazaars, hundreds of temples and monasteries, and its friendly and hospitable inhabitants. The kingdom is situated between India and Tibet and it has nearly 22 million people. Elevations in Nepal vary from about 250 feet in the tropical Terai region to 29,028 feet at the Summit of Mt. Everest. Nepali life is rich in culture and religion which gives it a feel all its own.
Trekking in Nepal: We offer treks in every region of Nepal. We use
lodges or tea houses for our more classic and popular treks and bring our own camps for the remote treks. Trekking is the ultimate way to experience the beauty and culture of Nepal.
Our lodge treks can be done with as few as 1 person all the way to a group of 20+. Our off the beaten path (remote) treks require a minimum of 2 people. But trekking groups can always be found once you are in Nepal or we can arrange a group with other interested clients. Keep in mind with all the treks we offer that we are committed to making your time in Nepal a special and unique experience. This is why we will work with you to design a trek that includes everything you want to see and do. Just sent us a message and we start creating the adventure of your dreams.
